On November 14 and 15, 2012, The Myanmar Project organized a Rohingya Campaign on Yale’s Cross Campus. On the first day, nine posters that highlighted the persecution of the Rohingya minority in western Myanmar were put up on Cross Campus. The next day, we held the ‘Sign for Justice’ event. For an entire day, TMP members withstood the cold and asked passers-by to sign petitions! Petitions written by the U.S. Campaign for Burma and independent websites which urged the U.S. government and the UN to protect the minority population in Myanmar were signed by numerous volunteers!
